Medical Secretary/Technician Needed

NO Experience Needed:
Prior medical office or eyecare experience is a plus, but it’s certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning to our Exceptional Standard of Care!
Some of your duties will include:
- Taking the patient back to the exam room and verifying their medical history
- Spending 15+ minutes with each patient before the doctor comes in, performing duties such as measuring retinal function, peripheral vision, and retinal thickness; and taking retinal photographs. (You’ll be using the same type of instruments NASA uses on the space station!)
- Educating our patients on how to use and care for their contact lenses
- Troubleshooting prescription issues, checking contacts for fit and making adjustments
- Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth (offered and expected)
- Reviewing with patients what their benefits offer
- Taking inventory, ordering, sending and receiving shipments
- Accurately documenting patient measurements for all lens styles and prescriptions (using precision and accuracy)
- Troubleshooting prescription issues and miscellaneous repairs, taking accurate measurements for all lens styles and prescriptions, checking new glasses for fit and making adjustments.
